Over the course of a few months, Corey worked with me to improve my overall health and fitness. I’m not an athlete, nor can I be described as physically fit. Approaching the menopausal phase of life, I simply wanted to move my body in purposeful ways, achieve some mental clarity, and gain some strength in this stage of life. Corey is knowledgeable and passionate about whole body and mind wellness. While working with me, she was patient with teaching me how to use proper form when lifting weights and doing yoga movements. Her calm manner instantly put me at ease giving me confidence to move my body in ways it never had before. As my confidence increased, I felt empowered to push myself to do more weights and reps. I began to look forward to our scheduled sessions because I knew I would feel so much better, physically and mentally, after a stressful workday. With each session, I became even more motivated to try new things to help my body. Corey is the real deal! I absolutely loved doing yoga to end each of my training sessions.

I’ve lived with fibromyalgia for years and had reached a point where I felt exhausted, frustrated, and honestly a bit hopeless. I had seen doctors and specialists, tried different approaches, and still felt stuck in my body. Working with Corey was the first time I felt truly listened to and supported as a whole person.
Her approach was gentle, thoughtful, and never pushed me past my limits. Through fascia release, movement, and simple tools I could use at home, I started to feel more ease in my body and more confidence navigating flare-ups when they came up. Even on harder days, I now feel like I have options instead of fear.

My 1:1 session with Corey was intentional and meditative. She came prepared with a list of exercises and techniques that were appropriate for the pain and discomfort I was experiencing and as I indicated in the online assessment she had me fill out a head of time. She was supportive, curious and aware throughout the session. I was very comfortable and could feel the shifting of energy in my body throughout the session. She left me with many tips on how to continue working on my own. Corey has a gentle, confident spirit and is very knowledgeable. I would definitely schedule another session with her.

My yoga journey began in Sept. 2022 with one of Corey’s classes. Transitioning from weightlifting to yoga, she made me feel so comfortable in learning to how slow down, and connect with and listen to my body. Her instructions are so clear, always providing modifications for all levels and needs. Over a year later, I am still a student of Corey’s, having gained a deeper appreciation for the sense of calm and connection to myself that she continues to nurture in my practice. Corey's personalized body work has helped me immensely, both physically as well as mentally. She is incredibly kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I have had chronic pain, depression and anxiety for years, I was born an "congenital left foot amputee" and she has been able to help me navigate my body's aging while working with my disability. She knows how to make movements accessible to many body types. Her delivery of info is very intune with kindness and compassion. Her "Zen Den" set up where we practiced was absolutely beautiful. I recently developed planters fasciitis in my foot which caused awful shooting pain while walking so I reached out to Corey. We had a virtual session where she discussed and showed me step by step how to use my foam roller on certain areas of my leg to help. I felt immediate relief the next day. Magic!
Over the course of the next several days I noticed the pain started to decrease. My boyfriend endured the same pain for over 6 months whereas mine only lasted a week after my session with Corey which is incredible.
I’ve also inquired about sciatica pain and strains to certain muscles from running Spartans. Each time she was able to pin point exactly what needed to be done which always results in immediate relief. 100 out of 100 highly recommend reaching out to this goddess for all your needs. She’s also a personal trainer and yoga instructor with so much compassion and knowledgeable about health and a holistic life. Amazing!

Where do I even begin? Corey’s class was THE class that got me to fall in love with yoga. I used to say “yoga is not for me” “I’m too active for yoga” “I’d probably fall asleep”
NOT in Corey’s class! Corey’s asanas flow like the water and her integrations of qigong, tai chi and breathing exercises leave the body and the mind so lovely aligned. Opened eyes or closed, her class and beautiful energy will too. So much love for her!!

Corey has been working with me virtually and in-person for the last few years. I have sacroiliac trouble as well as scoliosis, and sometimes get locked in place.
